Dental Hygiene Team
Nancy Dragovich, RDH
Nancy is a 1997 graduate of West Virginia University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked with Dr. Saxon since 1999 and has enjoyed working in rural central Virginia where she grew up. Nancy loves working with the patients here and has enjoyed getting to know the families over the years. Dental hygiene is her passion and she loves working with her patients to improve their oral health.
Cathy Lester, RDH
Cathy is a native of Collinsville, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked with Dr. Saxon's office overall for about 10 years. Taking a few years in between to work at an office in Richmond, VA. We are happy to have her back here with us. Cathy enjoys taking vacations with her sister, and working to fix up her old home. Cathy has a passion to provide knowledge for quality hygiene in adults as well as children. You can often find her taking the time to show the correct way of brushing teeth and flossing.
Dental Assistance Team
Brianna Roach
Brianna joined our team in February of 2023. She brought a wealth of knowledge with her as well as a bubbly personality. She has a goal of continuing her education into the Dental Hygiene field. Brianna is a native of Buckingham and enjoys her quality time with her nieces and nephew.
Brittney Whittington, C.D.A.
Brittney Whittington is a DANB certified dental assistant from Buckingham County. Brittney graduated from Buckingham County High School in 2014 and attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she studied Biology and Chemistry. Her passion for oral health is what brought her back to Buckingham, wanting to serve her community and assist our doctors. In her spare time, she works with her two horses Digger and Stella and has a passion for art and literature.
Brett Whittington, DAII
Brett Whittington was one of the first DAII’s in the state of Virginia, certified by Fortis College and licensed by the state in 2014. Brett went to Douglas Freeman High School and grew up in Richmond, VA. Brett and his wife moved their family to Buckingham in 2003 where he also started coaching recreational soccer and high school soccer. Though not coaching anymore he still shows his support for the BCHS soccer program. When not assisting, Brett spends his time playing guitar and bass, playing golf, or camping with his family.
Front Office Team
Kristi Fitzgerald
Patient Coordinator/ Accounts Receivable
Kristi has been with our practice since the Spring of 2019. She has a background in Insurance and Office Administration. Kristi grew up in the Roanoke, VA area. She met her husband in 2007 in Lynchburg where they resided until 2014 before relocating to Buckingham, VA. Kristi enjoys spending quality time with her husband, 6 grown sons and their 13 grandchildren, three dogs, and other farm animals. Her favorite past time is spending time on cruises to any tropical island.
Emma Love
Patient Coordinator/ Accounts Receivable
Emma has been with us since early 2021, She is efficient at the front desk as well as an asset to the Dental Assistant team when needed. She graduated from Buckingham High school in 2019 with an Associate's degree in general studies. Emma is currently taking classes towards a Dental Hygienist degree as well as a degree in Speech Pathology.
When not at work Emma loves spending time with her fiancé Mason, and their two dogs Hank and Gracie.
Lena Dragovich
Lena has been assisting around the office from a very young age. She took on a more purposeful roll in the summer of 2022. She is an asset to the Front end team as well as the Dental Assistant team willing to fill in where ever is needed. Lena is currently a Junior at Buckingham High School.
