Dental Hygiene Team
Nancy Dragovich, RDH
Nancy is a 1997 graduate of West Virginia University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked with Dr. Saxon since 1999 and has enjoyed working in rural central Virginia where she grew up. Nancy loves working with the patients here and has enjoyed getting to know the families over the years. Dental hygiene is her passion and she loves working with her patients to improve their oral health.
Cathy Lester, RDH
Cathy is a native of Collinsville, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked with Dr. Saxon's office overall for about 10 years. Taking a few years in between to work at an office in Richmond, VA. We are happy to have her back here with us. Cathy enjoys taking vacations with her sister, and working to fix up her old home. Cathy has a passion to provide knowledge for quality hygiene in adults as well as children. You can often find her taking the time to show the correct way of brushing teeth and flossing.
Shalonda Ferrell, RDH
Shalonda is originally from Chicago, IL. She graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Psychology and Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Counselor Education and Dental Hygiene. Dentistry has always peaked her interest, which made the transition from Guidance Counselor to Dental Hygienist easy. She currently lives in Midlothian, VA with her husband and three children.

April Jamerson
April started working in the dental field while she was still attending high school, after graduation she took a full time position being a dental assistant. 17 years later she is still loving what she does! April is not afraid to jump in working the front desk, lab, hygiene or assisting. Her compassionate personality puts patients at ease while she is helping with their dental needs.
Brianna Roach
Brianna joined our team in February of 2023. She brought a wealth of knowledge with her as well as a bubbly personality. She has a goal of continuing her education into the Dental Hygiene field. Brianna is a native of Buckingham and enjoys her quality time with her nieces and nephew.
Jamie Bryan
Jamie is a newest team member starting in June 2023. Although still learning the ropes, Jamie is willing to jump in and do what needs to be done. Jamie is a native of Buckingham and her contagious laugh puts her neighbors and friends at ease. Outside of work Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children

Kristi Fitzgerald
Patient Coordinator/ Accounts Receivable
Kristi has been with our practice since the Spring of 2019. She has a background in Insurance and Office Administration. Kristi grew up in the Roanoke, VA area. She met her husband in 2007 in Lynchburg where they resided until 2014 before relocating to Buckingham, VA. Kristi enjoys spending quality time with her husband, 6 grown sons and their 13 grandchildren, four dogs, two cats and other farm animals. Her favorite past time is spending time on cruises to any tropical island.
Emma Love
Patient Coordinator/ Accounts Receivable
Emma has been with us since early 2021, She is efficient at the front desk as well as an asset to the Dental Assistant team when needed. She graduated from Buckingham High school in 2019 with an Associate's degree in general studies. Emma is currently taking classes towards a Dental Hygienist degree as well as a degree in Speech Pathology.
When not at work Emma loves spending time with her fiancé Mason, and their two dogs Hank and Gracie.
Lena Dragovich
Lena has been assisting around the office from a very young age. She took on a more purposeful roll in the summer of 2022. She is an asset to the Front end team as well as the Dental Assistant team willing to fill in where ever is needed. Lena is currently a Junior at Buckingham High School.
